The working visit of the Ambassador H.E. Mr. Archil Dzuliashvili to the State of Gujarat

On September 23-26, 2021, in the framework of the working visit to the State of Gujarat, Ambassador of Georgia, Archil Dzuliashvili held meetings with the Governor of Gujarat, Mr. Acharya Devvrat and with the Chief Minister, Mr. Bhupendra Rajnikant Patel. Separate meeting of the Ambassador was held also with the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Gujarat, Mr. Herman Shah and other senior officials of the Chamber. 

During the meetings the possibilities for further development of the cooperation between Georgia and Gujarat in various fields were discussed. Special attention was paid to the importance of deepening the bilateral trade-economic and investment relations, since Gujarat is one of the leading States of India with its industrial potential. 

In the framework of the visit, the Ambassador of Georgia proposed to the Chief Minister of Gujarat to consider the possibility of paying a visit to Georgia, while the Indian side proposed to consider the possibility of the participation of the Prime Minister of Georgia and the accompanying delegation in the global economic forum “Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2022” scheduled in Gujarat, which is traditionally attended by the leaders and leading business groups of various countries.
