Archil Dzuliashvili was born in 1970 in Tbilisi, Georgia. In 1994, he graduated from Tbilisi State University, Oriental Studies (MA in History of the Middle East). In 1992 - 1994, he also studied at the Arabic Language Institute, Damascus, Syria. While working in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, he successfully completed short-term introductory seminars in Austria, Egypt, India, Republic of Korea and Japan.
He began working in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia in 1995. He was Attaché of the Middle East and Africa Division – Department of Asia, Africa, Australia and the Pacific Rim. In 1998, he was appointed First Secretary in the same Department. He was then promoted to the position of Head of the Middle East and Africa Division - Department of Asia, Africa, Australia and the Pacific Rim. From 2000 to 2003 he worked as Deputy Director of the Department of Asia, Africa, Australia and the Pacific Rim.
In 2003, Mr. Dzuliashvili continued working as Consul in the Embassy of Georgia to Kazakhstan. From 2004 till 2006, he served as Deputy Head of Mission/Consul in the Embassy of Georgia to Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. In 2006, he was appointed Deputy Director of the Department of Eastern Affairs. He also served as an Acting Director of the Department of Global Relations.
In 2006, He was appointed Chargé d'affaires in the Embassy of Georgia to the State of Kuwait and was tasked to open the first ever Georgian Embassy in the Gulf Cooperation Council Countries. In the years 2007-2010, he continued to work as Senior Counselor/Consul, in the Embassy of Georgia to the State of Kuwait, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Kingdom of Bahrain, State of Qatar, Sultanate of Oman and United Arab Emirates.
In 2011, he was appointed Ambassador of Georgia to the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Arab Republic of Syria. In 2012 he became the first Georgian Ambassador to Tunisia and Libya (with residence in Cairo, Egypt).
In 2011, he was assigned as the first Permanent Observer of Georgia to the African Union and in 2012, he was awarded the status of Permanent Representative of Georgia to the League of Arab States (with residence in Cairo, Egypt).
In 2016, he served as Ambassador at large of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia and in June 2016 he was appointed as Ambassador of Georgia to the Republic of India, the Kingdom of Thailand, the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal, the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, and the People’s Republic of Bangladesh (with residence in New Delhi, India). On July 24, 2017, Archil Dzuliashvili was appointed as Ambassador of Georgia to the Republic of Maldives (with residence in New Delhi).
Archil Dzuliashvili has a wife and three children.
