Ambassador of Georgia Vakhtang Jaoshvili presented his Letter of Credence to His Excellency Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, President of the Republic of Maldives

On September 9, 2024, Ambassador of Georgia Vakhtang Jaoshvili presented his Letter of Credence to His Excellency Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, President of the Republic of Maldives.

During the meeting that followed the ceremony, President Muizzu expressed his appreciation for the current state of relations between the Maldives and Georgia and emphasized the importance of enhancing political and economic ties between the two nations.

Ambassador Jaoshvili conveyed his gratitude for the Maldives' support for Georgia's territorial integrity and expressed his commitment to advancing mutually beneficial cooperation in various sectors. He also highlighted the significance of high-level visits in strengthening bilateral relations.
