On March 27, 2024, Ambassador of Georgia Vakhtang Jaoshvili presented to Her Excellency Smt. Droupadi Murmu, Hon’ble President of the Republic of India, the ‘Letter of Credence’.
On March 19, 2024, the Ambassador-designate of Georgia to the Republic of India, Vakhtang Jaoshvili held a meeting with the Additional Secretary (Eurasia) of the Ministry of External Affairs of India, Mr. Charanjeet Singh.
On March 7, 2024, the Ambassador-designate of Georgia to the Republic of India Vakhtang Jaoshvili presented the copies of the Credentials to the Chief of Protocol of the Ministry of External Affairs of India Anshuman Gaur.
On March 3-6, 2023 the Ambassador of Georgia paid a working visit to the Republic of Maldives. In the framework of the visit the Ambassador held bilateral meetings with the Speaker of the People’s Majlis of the Republic of Maldives, H.E. Mr. Mohammed Nasheed and with the Minister of Gender, Family and Social Services of the Republic of Maldives, H.E. Ms. Aishath Mohamed Didi.
On February 23, 2023 second round of bilateral political consultations was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Georgia and the Kingdom of Thailand, at the level of Deputy Ministers. The Georgian delegation was headed by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Alexander Khvtisiashvili, while the Thai delegation was headed by the Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Vijavat Isarabhakdi. Important issues in the agenda of bilateral and multilateral cooperation were discussed during the consultations. The sides also reviewed the current political and economic developments in the respective countries and regions.
On February 3-6, 2023 the Ambassador paid a working visit to the capital city Colombo of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka where attended the military parade held on February 4 on the occasion of the 75th Independence of Sri Lanka. The Ambassador along with the members of the diplomatic corps accredited in Colombo also attended the official reception held at the Presidential Palace. During the reception the Ambassador held short conversations with H.E. Mr. Ranil Wickramasinghe, President of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, with H.E. Mr. Ali Sabry, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Sri Lanka and other high officials.
On January 31, 2023 H.E. Mr. Archil Dzuliashvili, Ambassador of Georgia to India attended the reception hosted by Ms. Neeta Gupta, director of the publishing house “Yatra Books” and publisher of the first ever edition of “The Knight in the Tiger Skin” in Hindi. The reception was held on the occasion of the Jaipur Literature Festival 2023 organized from January 19 to January 23 and was attended by writers, poets, public figures and representatives of the field of literature who participated in the Festival.
On January 30, 2023 H.E. Mr. Archil Dzuliashvili, Ambassador of Georgia to India held a meeting with H.E. Mr. Manmohar Lal Khattar, Minister of State of Haryana.
