Indo-Georgian Music Festival “Ketevan” in Goa

On February 27 and 28, 2026, the annual Indo-Georgian Music Festival “Ketevan” was held in Goa, India. This major event helps to strengthen the long-standing cultural ties between Georgia and India and to promote Georgian culture internationally.

The program included performances by traditional Indian music and dance groups as well as a Georgian ensemble "Sathanao," which introduced the public to traditional sacred and folk music.

The event brought together representatives from the Patriarchate of Georgia, state of Goa, members of the diplomatic corps, figures from the Indian cultural world, media representatives, and members of local society.

The festive event was organized in close collaboration with the Embassy of Georgia in India, the Ministry of Culture of Georgia, the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), and Akash Timblo, Honorary Consul-designate of Georgia in Goa.
